Madley's accuser was the NYPD's top earner in fiscal year 2024, earning more than $400,000, according to salary data. More than half was overtime pay. In her complaint to the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, she alleges that Madley subjected her to “quid pro quo sexual harassment” by forcing her to “provide unwanted sexual favors in exchange for the opportunity to work overtime.”
