Alina Habba, who previously served as the acting US attorney in New Jersey and was once a personal attorney for former President Donald Trump, married Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon in a grand wedding at the Waldorf Astoria this past Saturday.
Habba, age 42, exchanged vows with 29-year-old Mildon, who is the CEO of Miller Holding, a well-known Turkish multinational company founded by his grandfather in 1967, over the weekend.
The celebration was hosted in the iconic hotel’s fourth-floor ballroom, lavishly decorated with numerous pink and white cherry blossoms alongside hundreds of red roses.
One event planner estimated that the rental cost for the ballroom, including music and floral arrangements, could easily exceed $1 million. This estimation doesn’t even include any additional expenses for guest room bookings or other public areas within the hotel.
The couple managed to plan this extravagant event in just three months, employing two renowned wedding planners from Palm Beach. A source mentioned they initially aimed to hold the celebration at the Plaza Hotel but found it fully booked.
Through his business, which operates in sectors like energy, construction, and mining, Mildon has reportedly forged connections with political leaders in countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela, including interim President Delcy Rodriguez.
Just hours before the grand reception, Habba’s young children, daughter Chloe and son Luke, were seen arriving in the hotel lobby with a staff member.
Margo Martin, a special assistant and communications advisor to Trump, was among the early arrivals. Other notable guests included FBI Director Kash Patel and US Attorney General Todd Blanche, with former boxer Mike Tyson also spotted at the wedding.
Interestingly, Trump did not make it to the event; he was attending a college football game in Knoxville, Tennessee, where the top-ranked Texas team narrowly beat No. 14 Tennessee.
Habba and Mildon were first seen together at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April, which was unfortunately cut short due to a security incident. They were later seen celebrating at a private club in Washington, DC, during the Fourth of July weekend.
Last week, Habba was spotted wearing an impressive diamond engagement ring that is believed to be at least 23 carats, along with a $30,000 pink ostrich Hermès Birkin bag, while dining at the upscale Polo Room in West Palm Beach, according to reports.
The couple reportedly met earlier this year at an event held at the Kennedy Center in Washington.
This wedding marks Habba’s third marriage. She previously divorced her second husband, parking lot mogul Gregg Reuben, after stepping down from her position as New Jersey’s top federal prosecutor last December. Her first marriage to attorney Matthew Eyet, who is the father of her children, ended in 2019.
