Alina Habba Engaged to Turkish Billionaire
Alina Habba, who used to serve as the acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey and was previously a personal lawyer for former President Trump, is reportedly engaged to a Turkish billionaire who is 13 years younger than her.
Habba, who is 42, is set to marry Turhan Mildon, 29, this Saturday at a location that has yet to be revealed, as first reported by The Correspondent, an independent news outlet.
Mildon is the CEO of Miller Holding, a significant Turkish multinational company established by his grandfather back in 1967.
Through his enterprise, which focuses on energy, construction, and mining, Mildon has cultivated strong relationships with governmental leaders in places like the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela, including interim President Delcy Rodriguez, the outlet noted.
The couple was first seen together at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April, an event that was notably interrupted by an attempted gunman incident.
They were later spotted celebrating together at the Executive Branch, a private club in Washington, D.C., on Independence Day.
Recently, the Daily Mail caught up with Habba and Mildon outside the upscale Polo Room restaurant in West Palm Beach, Florida, where Habba showcased a large diamond engagement ring estimated to be at least 23 carats.
The two originally met at a Kennedy Center event in Washington, D.C., earlier this year.
The engagement marks Habba’s third marriage. She previously divorced her second husband, parking lot magnate Gregg Reuben, after stepping down from her role as New Jersey’s federal prosecutor last December. Her first marriage ended in 2019 with attorney Matthew Eyet.
Mildon also has been previously divorced, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Habba gained recognition after being hired as Trump’s personal attorney in 2021 and had a brief stint in the West Wing last year as a counselor to the president before taking over the New Jersey U.S. Attorney’s Office. There has also been speculation about her as a potential successor to Karoline Leavitt for the White House press secretary position, although she has expressed no interest in that role.
