Just after 11pm on Saturday, multiple gunmen opened fire in Birmingham, Alabama, leaving four people dead and many injured.
KSTP Reported “Multiple suspects opened fire on a large group of people who were in an outdoor public area,” Officer Truman Fitzgerald said.
He added: “Investigators believe this shooting was not random and resulted from an isolated incident in which multiple victims were caught in the crossfire.”
One woman and two men were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other man died after being taken to hospital.
WTM13 attention In addition to the deaths, at least 18 people were injured in the shooting, and no suspects have been arrested.
Police are trying to determine who the target of the shooting was.
