Inmate Captured After New Orleans Prison Break
Authorities have apprehended a fourth inmate who escaped from a New Orleans prison along with six others last Friday. The FBI in New Orleans confirmed the capture of Gary C. Price via a post on X.
The post indicated that the FBI and local law enforcement would continue their search for the remaining six fugitives. They encourage anyone with information to contact them at 1-800-CALL-FBI or to submit tips online.
Price, 21, faces serious charges, including seven counts of attempted first-degree murder, multiple counts of second-degree battery, and several other offenses related to weapons and domestic abuse.
Officials mentioned that some of the escaped inmates might have left the city or even Louisiana, but advised the public to stay alert and report any tips. The FBI stated it has increased resources dedicated to this case, offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the capture of the remaining inmates.
Sources indicated that while authorities are working on detaining others, the timing is delicate. There’s suspicion that some remaining fugitives may have left New Orleans, although it’s also believed that most of them could still be within the area.
This is an ongoing situation, and updates will be provided as they become available.
