FOX News anchor Neil Kabuto pushed back Regarding claims by Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R.S.C.) that progressive billionaire George Soros is funding groups involved in pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses.
Kabuto told Mace that “some of these institutions are currently pressuring them to negotiate with the protesters and bring to a vote some measures that require divestment of funds and investments to Israel.” Told. on his show “Your World with Neil Cavuto.” “What do you think of that?”
“Well, they want disclosure and a sale,” Mace replied. “I want people fired. I want people deported. I want people who are here illegally, who are here on student visas, who are participating in these things, deported. This is… I think it would be a very different scenario, if this was a peaceful protest and this was about the First Amendment, but that’s not the case.”
Mace also claimed that several pro-Palestinian groups involved in the student movement received funding from Jewish Holocaust survivor Soros.
“There are groups that are funded by George Soros. There are Palestinian rights groups that are funded by George Soros that appear to be involved, and if they are committing violence, then the We need to vacate our campus, please don’t do that,” Mace continued.
“Okay,” Kabuto said before pushing back on his point. “By the way, there is no evidence that these are funded by George Soros…their officials deny it. But we will soon find out exactly where this money is coming from. ”
“I’ll agree to disagree,” Mr. Mace replied.
The Jewish Democratic Party criticized House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) for suggesting, like Mace, that Soros was somehow behind pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses. There is.
In an interview with NewsNation’s “The Hill,” Johnson said he believes recent campus protests against the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas are not grassroots movements.
“I think [FBI officials] “We need to look at the root causes and find out whether some of it was funded by George Soros or foreign entities,” Johnson said. “Many of these campuses seem to be pursuing some sort of common theme and common strategy.”
“Less than 24 hours after passing a bill that does nothing in the name of ‘fighting anti-Semitism,’ @SpeakerJohnson brought out one of the oldest anti-Semites.” A metaphor for the world. ”
The Hill reached out to Soros.
