Fox News dominates presidential race coverage, tops ABC and CBS

Fox News recorded its second-highest ratings in the third quarter of all time, beating out rivals ABC and CBS and dominating prime time for a whopping 91 consecutive quarters.

Fox News captured 52% of total daily viewers and 53% of prime-time viewers in the third quarter, its highest share since early 2023, according to ratings agency Nielsen.

The most-watched cable news network saw primetime viewership increase by 43% in total daily viewers and 93% in the 25-54 demographic coveted by advertisers.

Fox News led the way in breaking news coverage in July after President Trump's first assassination attempt and President Joe Biden's historic decision to withdraw from the 2024 campaign that same month.
