Franklin Graham Celebrates Mother's Love in 'God Made a Mother' Tribute

Rev. Franklin Graham’s Mother’s Day Eulogy

The Rev. Franklin Graham delivered a heartfelt eulogy on Mother’s Day, emphasizing the important role mothers play in nurturing their children.

In a recent social media update, Graham shared, “Happy Mother’s Day! I recalled this story from a while back and thought it might resonate with you. While this quote isn’t literal, it carries a lot of truth about a mother’s love.”

This narrative illustrates how the Creator designed humans specifically to nurture, protect, and bring joy to their families.

“In ancient times, God needed someone dependable to love His cherished children, so He created mothers,” one part of the story notes.

God must have thought, “Yes, I require someone who will love my children as deeply as I do.”

“I will endow each mother with a heart the size of Texas, and if she allows me, I will fill that heart with my unique, everlasting love — a love akin to my own.”

“Once she cradles her newborn, she will be forever changed. Even when her children grow up and move on, her love remains constant. Throughout her life, a mother fights, prays, and sacrifices for her children.”

And thus, God created mothers.

Users on social media shared their sentiments regarding Graham’s post, with one person expressing, “I adore this. That was how my mother was.”

Another commenter added, “Thank you, Franklin Graham, for this beautiful tribute. My mother never wanted her 12 children to attend church on Mother’s Day. We owe so much of who we are to our faithful mother.”

First Lady Melania Trump, alongside Mr. Graham, also honored mothers during this special day. In her remarks, she noted, “Mothers represent America’s strength.”

“Let us together support a new American vision that honors motherhood by empowering women to lead confidently in the workplace while prioritizing family as the bedrock of our nation’s future. Let’s focus on family as we build a stronger America for upcoming generations,” she remarked.

During a speech at the White House this week, the first lady referred to military mothers as “the soul of our country.”

Furthermore, her husband, President Donald Trump, acknowledged Gold Star Moms and Angel Moms at a recent event in the Rose Garden, as noted by reports.
