Chelsea Freeman Shares Medical Scare
Chelsea Freeman recently opened up about some alarming symptoms that landed her in the emergency room.
Freddie Freeman’s wife detailed in an Instagram Story Q&A that she awoke suddenly one night, feeling intense pain in her chest and back.
Believing she might be having a heart attack, she dialed 911. The whole situation felt even more unsettling since Freddie was away with the Dodgers.
“It was really scary, especially since Freddie was out of town,” she admitted in her post.
Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors noted elevated troponin levels. This led to a series of cardiac tests, including a cardiac CT scan, a chest X-ray, and an echocardiogram.
On Wednesday, Chelsea consulted with a cardiologist who suspected she might be dealing with pericarditis or myocarditis. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, she’s set to undergo another echocardiogram next week for closer monitoring.
Fortunately, she mentioned feeling “much better” after the ordeal.
Additional information has come to light since Chelsea’s initial update about her hospital visit, which she described as “a bit of a health scare” in a photo taken from her hospital bed.
At that time, the mother of four expressed her gratitude to the paramedics, nurses, and doctors who assisted her, urging her followers to seek medical help if something feels off.
The Freeman family has faced serious health challenges recently; her son Maximus battled Guillain-Barre syndrome in 2024 and spent eight days in the pediatric intensive care unit. Afterward, they celebrated his recovery, calling it a “miracle.”
While Chelsea is now looking at further tests, the progress in her health brings a positive note to an otherwise distressing situation.
