A new documentary focusing on the life of beloved actor John Candy has just been released for streaming.
Titled “John Candy: I Like Me,” the film made its debut at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival and became available to Prime Video subscribers on October 10th.
Candy, a Canadian actor and comedian, gained fame through his work in The Second City and SCTV, where he performed alongside notable figures like Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, and Martin Short. His filmography includes classics such as “Stripes,” “Spaceballs,” “Uncle Buck,” and “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,” marking him with numerous unforgettable roles.
Sadly, his life was cut short in 1994 when he passed away from a heart attack at just 43 years old.
