The Chiefs’ elite defensive lineman is set to become a free agent this offseason, and some desperate teams are certainly lining up their checkbooks in search of a run-stopper.
DraftKings has odds on Chris Jones’ next team, predicting he’ll return to the Kansas City Chiefs (-175), as he drunkenly declared at the Super Bowl parade. , that’s far from certain.
However, according to reports, Jones may have jumped the gun and his future is even more up in the air.
Reports suggested an extension would come “soon” after Jones shouted “I’m not going anywhere, baby” at a parade.
Here you will be introduced to potential suitors. Here, the up-and-coming Houston Texans (+750) and Chicago Bears (+850) are followed by the Detroit Lions (10/1).
Below are the odds on who will land the Chiefs’ valuable defensive lineman.

Kansas City Chiefs (-175)
The odds are clearly in favor of a return to Kansas City, but Jones is here to make money, and even his agent says Jones is less likely to be in Kansas City than anywhere else. It makes me believe that.
Ultimately, the Chiefs will have to save money for defensemen Trent McDuffie and George Karlaftis, as Kansas City has shown they are willing to step up quickly from their star players.
If there was a “field” option where you could get “the other team” for around +150, that would be a great spot.
There will be a number of suitors looking to find success this offseason.

Houston Texans (+750)
If Jones were to hit the free agent market, the Texans would go all in on it.
Forget how good Jones is, but if they add him, their defense will be a real problem.
Head coach DeMeco Ryans has done a great job of strengthening the unit, allowing the second fewest yards per carry in the NFL.
Having stud quarterback CJ Stroud under center in just the second year of his rookie contract is the biggest advantage teams currently have in the NFL.
The Texans need to take advantage of that.
And with wide receivers Nico Collins and Tank Dell themselves rising stars, it’s time to strengthen their interior on both sides of the ball.
