Identifying itself as a nonpartisan group leading the anniversary celebrations, Freedom 250 announced the establishment of the FIFA World Cup™ Fan Zone at the National Mall. This initiative aligns with their goal of bringing Americans together and welcoming global visitors during this notable year. They collaborate with the White House Task Force 250, along with various federal bodies, making it an official public-private effort to enhance national and local commemorative activities.
The Fan Zone is set to operate from Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET, until Sunday, July 19, 2026, concluding at 6:00 PM ET. It will be located between 3rd and 4th Avenues on the National Mall. Admission will be free, and those interested will be able to register for attendance.
