Fetterman Backs Targeted Strikes on Hamas

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman expressed strong support for targeted killings of Hamas operatives during an appearance on Newsmax. He described the actions as necessary and vital for Israel’s efforts against the group.

In a discussion with Greta Van Susteren, Fetterman emphasized his agreement with Israel’s current military strategies, stating, “I absolutely support Hamas murder everywhere. It’s a reminder that they can find them anywhere, and I will definitely celebrate it.” He highlighted the need to corner Hamas and Hezbollah operatives globally.

Fetterman didn’t shy away from his stance, asserting his willingness to support strikes on Hamas operatives no matter their location, mentioning, “I’ll kill them if they were in Iran, if they were in Gaza or if they were in Qatar yesterday.” He insisted that these groups are accountable for their actions.

The senator claimed to have been one of the few Democrats who supported Israeli actions against Hamas, even mentioning his support for targeted strikes earlier this year. “That’s why I support it,” he remarked, identifying as both an Israeli supporter and a Democrat.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have begun precision strikes aimed at top Hamas leaders believed to have orchestrated the recent violence against Israel. Although the identities of those targeted were not disclosed, Israeli officials are focused on eliminating Khalil al-Hayya, a prominent figure often found in Qatar.

Meanwhile, the IDF has issued evacuation orders for Gaza residents ahead of planned military operations. They warned that remaining in the area could be extremely dangerous and advised civilians to move from the west to the south.

In recent months, there has been a growing divide among Democrats regarding Israel, with figures like Michigan Senator Rashida Tlaib openly criticizing the U.S. and Israel’s actions in Gaza, referring to them as acts of genocide during her speech at the Palestinian parliament.
