Gabbard says Biden admin swept explicit chatrooms in national security agencies under the rug

First on FOX: National Intelligence Director Tarsi Gabbard said that former President Joe Biden's administration had known for years what was happening with the internal agency messaging committees across the National Intelligence Agency for the internal agency messaging committee, but they allowed them to continue.

“I've been in the last few days [National Security Agency] And, “Hey, we saw this, and we reported it through official channels under the Biden administration,” she told Fox News Digital in an interview at the White House on Wednesday, following President Donald Trump's first cabinet meeting.

“And essentially they said this wasn't an issue, just put it aside,” Gabbard said.

It's all returned to the “biden administration obsession,” according to the new Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

The chat rooms were “set up for DEI's policy,” she said.

Gabbard said the debate had been going on for two years.

Fox News Digital contacted Biden and former DNI Avril Haines representatives but did not immediately receive a comment.

“They were shut down shortly after President Trump issued an executive order shutting down DEIs across the federal government,” she noted.

After discovering the chat, Gabbard instructed the agency below her to terminate the officials. She further instructed her to cancel her security clearance.

“Employees who were part of the chat violated the trust that Americans placed on them to work in these highly sensitive jobs that are directly related to national security,” she explained.

As for Dei, Gabbard said, “We're just scratching the surface here.”

According to the director, “When we removed the DEI center that rose under the Biden administration, we quickly saved nearly $20 million on taxpayers.”
