Gabriel Jesus Celebrates Goal with Special Message

After netting a crucial goal in Tuesday’s Premier League game, Gabriel Jesus shared a personal reflection on his faith. The Arsenal forward scored in the 78th minute, helping his team secure a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa and maintaining their lead at the top of the table.

Following his goal, Jesus revealed a shirt with the message, “I belong to Jesus.”

When asked about the shirt’s significance, he spoke from the heart. “Jesus saved my life from the beginning. I didn’t realize it at first, but during challenging times, I came to understand that without Him, we are nothing. I want to honor His name. Jesus made a huge difference for me. So now, in a moment of joy, I want to celebrate Him,” he explained, reflecting on the impact his faith has had in his life.

This goal marked Jesus’ first since recovering from a significant knee injury he suffered earlier in the year. Although he missed out on the UEFA Champions League squad, he is available for other matches.

It’s interesting to note that fellow Brazilian player Kaka also showcased a similar message years ago. In a light-hearted moment, Jesus received a yellow card for his celebration, but he seemed unbothered, likely feeling it was worth the gesture.

Looking ahead, Jesus is set to represent Brazil in the upcoming World Cup this summer, hoping to make a more significant impact after being sidelined in the previous tournament.
