Gal Gadot underwent emergency surgery at 8 months pregnant

The exterior of “Tonight's Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” The “Wonder Woman” actress was opened up about a traumatic medical emergency that landed in the hospital when she was eight months pregnant.

“I was in a great sense of fear. Suddenly I realized what it means to scare me off dying,” Gadot said. “I was very pregnant.”

“I had a brain clot and it was huge. I had three people, like three people,” she said. “When I do something, I do it all the time. I had a big headache for three weeks. I met doctors and different neurologists. You have to advocate for your health. Our bodies are always communicating with us.”

Initially, her medical team, Gadot, said she believes her symptoms include migraine and hormonal symptoms.

“Three weeks later, after those crazy headaches, my mother was saying, 'You need to check it out, you need to get an MRI',” she recalled.

“We did, they found this horrible thing and we were rushing to the hospital,” Gadot added. “And they quickly put out the baby. I went through a thrombectomy.”

Thrombectomy is the procedure for removing a blood clot from an artery or vein. Cleveland Clinic. “This procedure can restore blood flow to critical organs, such as the legs, arms, intestines, kidneys, brain and other important organs. Thrombectomy can significantly reduce the risk of death or permanent disability if done promptly.”

After thanking her “amazing” medical team, she urged viewers to stay vigilant when it comes to their health.

“Love yourself, check yourself, be on your health,” said Gatot, who shares her daughters Alma, 13, Maya, 7, 3, Oli (one), with her husband Jaron Vasano.

In December, Gadot shared an emotional post about social media. She detailed her “deep challenges and deep reflections” of her year, taking photos of the hospital just after the baby girl was born.

Gadot keeps her fourth pregnancy secret at Varsano and announces that she has given birth to a daughter Shared Posts Online in March.

“In February, during my eight months of pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a large amount of thrombus in my brain,” writes Gadot. “For a few weeks I had endured an unbearable headache until I finally took an MRI that revealed the horrible truth.”

“In a flash, my family and I faced how fragile life is. It reminded me of how quickly everything can change. And in a difficult year, all I wanted was to live with a hold.”

“We rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery within hours,” she continued. “My daughter, Ori, was born in a moment of uncertainty and fear. Her name, meaning “my light,” was not chosen by chance. Before the surgery, when our daughter arrived, she told Yaron that it was the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel.

Gadot thanked the team of doctors at Cedars Sinai Los Angeles “A few weeks of dedicated care.”

“I made it and started my path to recovery. Today I am totally healed and grateful for the life I have been given back,” she wrote.
