Gavin Adcock Critiques Zach Bryan’s Behavior Towards Young Fan

Country musician Gavin Adcock is openly criticizing fellow artist Zach Bryan. In a recent interview, Adcock expressed his disapproval of Bryan’s response to a 14-year-old fan who felt let down after one of his concerts, calling into question Bryan’s character.

Adcock stated, “It’s not that I don’t want to sign an autograph after the show; it’s just about how you handle a disappointment, especially from a kid. You’re bigger than that.” This comment came during his appearance on a podcast.

While sharing his views, he suggested that Bryan tends to project a certain image—stating, “I think Zach Bryan wears a big mask in his daily life… I can’t help but want to expose the real him.”

The incident that sparked Adcock’s remarks occurred when a young fan took to TikTok to recount how they waited for hours in hopes of meeting Bryan, only to be dismissed rudely. The fan mentioned, “We waited outside for three hours to meet Zach Bryan… he completely blows everyone away and drives them away like a jerk.”

Reportedly, Bryan responded with a now-deleted remark that appeared dismissive. “Someone has a photo or hello. [Get off my d—].” This exchange has drawn various reactions online.

Adcock further emphasized that if Bryan couldn’t manage a minor criticism from a teenager, it raises questions about why so many idolize him. He commented, “That kid went all out to see you; his parents spent good money for that experience. You’re pushing 30—act like it.”

Both Adcock and Bryan’s representatives haven’t commented further on the situation.

In addition to this controversy, Adcock has made headlines with his views on other artists. In July, he publicly criticized Beyoncé’s album “Cowboy Carter,” claiming it doesn’t fit the country music genre. He fondly recalled that his mother played a lot of Beyoncé when he was a child, but reiterated that her work should not be classified as country music.

“It doesn’t sound country or feel country… I just don’t think it’s fair to artists who have dedicated their lives to the genre,” he concluded.
