Gavin Newsom Can Still Veto His Incredibly Stupid Anti-Trump Bills

California Gov. Gavin Newsom spent a significant portion of this week in Washington, D.C., where he tried to persuade President Donald Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress to give the state billions of dollars.

Meanwhile, his own Democratic-controlled state legislature I passed In response to his demands, two bills will fund legal agendas for Trump administration policies, including immigration, the environment and others.

There is nothing better than encapsulating adolescent mental states in California governance. We are like rebellious teenagers who smoke pots at home and destroy the family's cars, but expect their parents to pay our way through college.

Newsom wants Trump and federal taxpayers to pay for the goodness of their hearts to wipe out the chaos in California, but he says that as if California is some sort of success story, Trump is I hope I can oppose everything I do.

That's how California acted in its first Trump terminology.

Attorney General Xavier Becerra – Non-entities as health and welfare secretaries in the Biden administration have filed dozens of cases against Trump's policies, usually in a reliably free jurisdiction. California has been able to get a national injunction against Trump, with California politicians Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff and Kamala Harris trying to get Trump to take office each I did.

Anyway, Trump has always had California emergency funds. That's not just how rebellious California continues to rebel, Trump should still do the same thing now, Newsom says.

But this time it's different. And it's not just because Trump is stronger and wiser. This time, Trump won the popular vote via a candidate from California.

Overall, the country is already adjacent to the battle between California and Trump.

And this time, the failures of national and local leadership are far too noticeable.

Fires often spread across state lands, unremoved brushes. The city has failed to deploy firefighters in advance or send police to guide traffic. Local water operators were unable to fill the reservoir.

Newsom has denounced climate change, but climate change doesn't explain why Rick Caruso was able to save the Pallisard Mall, but the states and cities are almost nothing around it. It didn't save me.

The Trump administration was in charge of recovery efforts and found state and local leaders in complete chaos.

President Donald Trump himself traveled to Parisades in the Pacific a few days after taking his oath of office and sent Ambassador Rick Grenell to coordinate the agency and survived the deficit.

Most Palisade residents understand that if Trump hadn't done so, La Mayor Karen Bass would have prevented them from visiting their homes.

Newsom accused Trump of trying to politicize the fire early on. But it's Newsom and his party who brought politics all into it as they try to lead a new version of the so-called “resistance” against Trump in his second term.

The right thing – manly thing, if you can still say that, you'll admit that Newsom has rejected $50 million and is probably not the time to see President Donald Trump and federal taxpayers. .

For Democrat-controlled voters, funding a massive lawsuit against Trump may have seemed courageous. But things have changed.

Southern California has gone through hell. The nation is not in a position to fight. Newsom must admit it and retreat.

Does he do that? perhaps. It suggests he has a character and will boost the president's hopes of 2028, the former country of the party, such.

But who are we kidding? This is California. This is Gavin Newsom.
