Former “General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor was shot and killed early Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles, Fox News Digital reports.

She said he and a coworker had been asked to stay late to clean up the rooftop bar where they were bartending, and returned to their car around 3 or 3:30 a.m.
“They were walking out to their car, and when they got there, it looked like Johnny’s car was pulled over to one side in front of my coworker, and from what I understand, he said, ‘Hey man, can you tow my car?’ And the guy looked up and he had his mask on, so he knew they weren’t doing that, and he stood in front of my coworker and stepped back and put his hands up, and that’s when the guy shot him,” Scarlett said.

Wachter’s mother said authorities plan to perform an autopsy and that once his body is released, the family plans to bring him back to South Carolina for a funeral.
“I just want everyone to know that they lost a great human being. There is a huge hole in mine and my son’s life. We just lost my husband, my son’s father, four years ago. He was very loved by his friends and family. He was a very optimistic and positive person who lived life to the fullest and chased his dreams,” Scarlett Wachter said of her son.
She continued, “And the funny thing is, he didn’t try to stop them from taking it. They could have just walked away or taken it. He probably would have just given them the car. They were really cowards.”[ly] I hope they catch the culprit and that justice is served for Johnny. That’s all I can hope and pray for. We will see him again. But above ground, it’s going to be a very, very long road without him, for me and his brothers.”
