The murder of “General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor is not the first time that the cast of the longest-running soap opera has succumbed to tragedy.
On May 25, Wachter was shot and killed while leaving a shift as a bartender at Level 8 in downtown Los Angeles. Official cause of death This was revealed by the coroner’s office.

In a press release previously obtained by Fox News Digital, the Los Angeles Police Department said Wachter was “encountered by three men” in the early morning hours of May 25. Wachter had just finished her shift as a bartender when she noticed the three men “attempting to lift her vehicle with a floor jack and steal the catalytic converter.” Wachter was shot and killed by one of the men.

Wachter played Brando Corbin on General Hospital for 164 episodes from 2020 to 2022.
More than two weeks after Wachter’s murder, the Los Angeles Police Department has yet to identify a suspect. Wachter’s family plans to hold a public memorial service for him on June 15 at Summerville Baptist Church in Summerville, South Carolina.

Billy Miller
Billy Miller, who played Jason Morgan/Drew Cain on “General Hospital” for six years, committed suicide in September 2023 at the age of 43.

“Paramedics attended and pronounced him dead at the scene,” the autopsy report states. “Several letters indicating intent to commit suicide and containing instructions to others were found at the scene.”
Post-mortem toxicology tests found traces of “ethanol, cocaine and its metabolites, diphenhydramine, and amphetamines.” Diphenhydramine is a well-known antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms, while amphetamines are stimulants.

In addition to his role on “General Hospital,” Miller also played Richie Novak on ABC’s “All My Children” and Billy Abbott on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” for which he won three Daytime Emmy Awards, and also appeared on “Suits.”

Robin Bernard, a longtime actress who appeared on “General Hospital,” was found dead in a field in March. She was 64 years old.

According to his death certificate obtained by Fox News Digital, Bernard was found in a vacant lot behind a strip mall in San Jacinto, California. The Riverside County coroner’s office has not yet released a cause of death.
In 1984, Bernard was cast as Terry Bullock on General Hospital, a role he played for 145 episodes until his departure in 1990.
Tyler Christopher

According to the coroner’s report obtained by Fox News Digital, Christopher died on Oct. 31, 2023, after a friend called 911 and found him “unresponsive in his bedroom.” He was 50 years old.
Other medical conditions that contributed to his death included “coronary atherosclerosis,” according to the report.

His representative confirmed the actor’s passing in a statement to Fox News Digital at the time.
“We can confirm that Tyler Christopher passed away this morning,” Chi Lo said. “This news is extremely shocking and we are devastated by his passing. He was an incredibly talented actor and more importantly, a great friend. Our deepest condolences go out to his friends and family who loved him so dearly.”
Christopher played Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital from 1996 to 2016. He also played the role of Stefan DiMera. “Day by day” From 2018 to 2019.
Harrison, son of Jack and Christina Wagner

The statement continues, “He struggled to stop taking pharmaceutical drugs until he turned to more Eastern approaches to pain management, including acupuncture and naturopathic medicines. His past addiction to opioids can only have contributed to his uncontrollable self-medication with drugs.”
