Georgia mom arrested for allegedly encouraging 7-year-old daughter to snatch purse at restaurant

A Georgia mother was arrested for allegedly encouraging her daughter to snatch an unattended purse at a restaurant after surveillance footage of the incident was leaked, and police have identified her.

Kenya Butler, 27, of Union City, was taken into custody following an incident at the Juicy Club in Newnan on March 2nd. Police say she was seen on video instructing her 7-year-old daughter to take a bag from the booth. .

“After this story was aired in the media, we were able to identify Kenya Butler as the perpetrator in this incident,” the investigator said. Taylor Dalton of the Newnan Police Department said. FOX5 Atlanta.

Butler is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and theft. My 7 year old daughter has no problems.
