The Georgia Bulldogs are scheduled to face the Texas Longhorns in a key SEC matchup that could decide the team's College Football Playoff fate later this year.
Fifth-place Georgia will be without the Uga XI, a key member of the corner program.

Charles Saylor, who owns an English bulldog, said: atlanta journal constitution The dog, also known as “Boom,” won't be going to Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin because it's too far away.
“This dog hasn't been on a plane yet, he hasn't been on a bus yet,” Seiler told the paper. “He's really young and inexperienced and crazy as hell and this match just didn't suit us.”
Seiler added: “He looks like a puppy, but he's big. He's a great dog and we love him, but he can be a bit of a bull in a china shop at times. Hopefully he can survive this condition. It will grow from there,” he added.

He also noted that Uga XI did not travel to Kentucky for that game.
Uga XI's father was famously involved in an incident with Bebo, the Longhorns mascot, at the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day 2019. Bebo accused Bulldog and the exchange went viral on social media.
Seiler denied to the newspaper that this was the reason for Uga XI's absence.

Texas, the No. 1 team in the nation, aims to continue its reign at the top. Georgia fell short to Alabama earlier this season, and a second loss could further hinder their chances of making the expansion playoffs.
