The bank accounts of politicians from the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party have been closed, lawmakers announced on Thursday.
Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB) has closed the account of Sascha Schlöser, according to a Twitter post, which included a copy of a letter from DKB informing them of the decision.
“The DKB took the opportunity to congratulate me on my election as an AfD state parliamentarian by closing all my accounts,” a translation of the post reads.
