The Giants could be on the brink of losing key components of both their front office and coaching staff.
On Wednesday, assistant general manager Brandon Brown traveled to Los Angeles for his second interview to become the Chargers' general manager, while offensive coordinator Mike Kafka also interviewed for his second time to become the Seahawks' head coach. The Post confirmed that he was in Seattle for an interview.
The Chargers are looking to replace Tom Telesco, who just took over as GM of the rival Raiders, and will work with former Giants great Antonio Pierce as head coach.
At the same time as the GM meeting, the Chargers are also reportedly negotiating with head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Sources say Harbaugh and Brown have a personal relationship, but the origins of that relationship are unclear beyond an interaction when Brown was scouting players for Harbaugh at the University of Michigan.

And the Chargers hold the No. 5 overall pick — one spot ahead of the Giants.
Brown has served as general manager Joe Schon's right-hand man on all of his roster decisions since leaving the rival Eagles for a promotion just weeks after Joe Schon took over in January 2022. .
He interviewed twice with the Panthers this month, but the team opted to stay in-house and promote Dan Morgan to general manager.
Kafka is one of five candidates so far brought back by the Seahawks for in-person interviews. According to Sports Illustrated.
Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, who previously held the position with the Giants, will be the first to appear, with two New Jersey natives appearing later in the week, Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Rams defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Raheem Morris and Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Ebello followed. .

Quinn, a former Seahawks assistant and Falcons head coach, is considered the frontrunner.
If Kafka is hired, the Giants will have to replace all three coordinators following the firing of Thomas McGaughey and the controversial departure of Wink Martindale.
Regardless of whether Kafka returns or not, head coach Brian Daboll will likely call him to play next season.
