Neither the Giants nor the Cowboys played on Sunday, but both sides went to each other anyway.
Former Cowboys star receiver Dez Bryant was the first to take a dig at the Giants during the Eagles' 55-23 victory over the NFC Championship Game Managers.
Moments after Saquon Barkley rushed for a 60-yard touchdown in the Eagles' first offensive game. bryant wrote “The Giants have to get sick. I don't care what everyone says on X.
Barkley specifically signed with the Eagles this past offseason after spending the first six years of his career with the Giants, who drafted him No. 2 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
It didn't take long for Giants edge rusher Kay Von Thibodeau to return.
“I got the same amount of SB [sic]”Thibodeaux Posted accordinglyboth referencing not winning a Super Bowl.
The two went back and forth over the next hour.
“That's true, but I've had a great career and I'm on the record. [book]..amazing…. That's good! This year they let go of the best player in the NFL and the GM told him straight to his face to draft Jaden Daniels,” Bryant replied along with his own laughing emoji. “You shouldn’t be talking to me you should be talking to your stupid ass GM…”
Bryant was referencing Giants general manager Joe Schoen. Joe Schoen was taken with a “hard knock” by his son to trade up in the 2024 NFL Draft and select Daniels, who brought in the commander before Sunday's loss.
Bryant spent eight seasons with the Cowboys, was a three-time Pro Bowler and was named AP First Team All-Pro once.
He spent his final season with the Ravens in 2020-21.
Thibodeau, who the Giants drafted with the No. 5 pick in 2022, has three seasons up and down in the NFL.
He recorded 21 sacks in three years.
“I'm shooting with an old head that's referring to the Giants from now on,” Thibode said. I wrote it in another post.

Thibodeaux then sent out a flurry of tweets.
“Why didn't you retire @dezbryant?” Thibodeau wrote.
“He’s waiting for the next pandemic to do his job.” Thibodeaux addedwith another laughing emoji.
“People who talk about the past aren’t doing s–t now.” he postedand three more laughing emojis.
“What happened in Green Bay @dezbryant?” he addedreferencing Bryant's controversial drop during the 2015 NFC Championship Game.
“If Joe [Schoen] I think I’m introducing @dezbryant.” he posted.
“What is this idiot talking about? I quit playing soccer.” Bryant repliedadds yet another laughing emoji. “I stopped playing soccer…I don't care about playing soccer…I'll let you make it. I'll support the athletes and keep you guys grounded, but… , I keep calling you out for not supporting me when organizations do stupid things. My tweet clearly went over your head…stop being sensitive.. I really don’t want to keep going back.”
Bryant admitted that he also thinks Giants players Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns, and Tyrone Tracy are good along with Neighbors after a fan asked in his comments.

Thibodeau also said he is deleting some of his posts.

Thibodeau later explained why he responded to Bryant.
“I think everyone can say something about the team I represent…not on my watch” Thibode written with laughing emoji. “Until I no longer have a huge IMA standing bid.”
After a short break, they continued late Sunday night.
“He's talking legit! He's sorry as a F–K..” bryant posted. “Waste of draft picks!”
