I don’t care how much money you have, this is totally stupid.
At this point, I think everyone knows what Uber Eats is, but for those who don’t know, it’s a popular feature related to the main Uber app that allows people to You can order food at any restaurant there is. What makes this special is that you can get delivery from almost anywhere, but the problem is that it also means that many people end up spending more money than they should.
Insert NBA legend Gilbert Arenas. (Related: Former NFL superstar Shawne Merriman is launching his own sports TV network, and the best part: it’s free!)
“I can’t hire a chef because I think the cost is too high. But when I look at my Uber Eats bill, it’s $10,000 a month,” Arenas said on a recent episode of “Nightcap.”
Yes, you read that correctly. Gilbert Arenas spends a whopping $120,000 a year on his girlfriend Uber Eats.
Talk about a good way to go bankrupt.

$120,000 on Uber Eats?
Look, I understand. I understand that Gilbert Arenas was paid during his time in the NBA, but judging by his spending habits on Uber Eats, I think his overall money management skills are absolutely terrible. I know his podcast doesn’t support that lifestyle…but at the same time, he’s also sponsored by Underdog, the daily fantasy sports (DFS) app that got me a mud bun on Monday nights. .
So…maybe he’ll be getting a good salary in 2024?
I hope so, for his sake and for that $120,000 a year bill.
