‘Glad He Won,’ ‘I Don’t Believe In Woke Culture’

John Dolmayan, drummer for Down's rock band system, voted for President Donald Trump and said he was happy to win. “I'm far more sane than he was without,” Dolmayan said. “I have no faith in awakened culture at all.”

“I voted for Donald Trump, I'm happy he won, because that's going to bring me a bit more sanity,” Dolmayan told Australian YouTuber Lilian Tahmasian, adding, “No matter what you've heard there, he's far more sane than he wasn't there.”

“I have no faith in awakened culture at all,” insisted Dolmayan. “It's no secret what my belief system is, and I also don't think it's good for society to have a lifelong career politician.”

Earlier in their conversation, the Down (SOAD) drummer's system noted that “mostly, being liberal is for idealistic thinkers.”

“We all believe in liberal concepts. I believe in a lot of liberal concepts,” he said. “I also believe in social concepts. I don't want people to starve to death, I want people to have a home. But I also believe in self-sacrifice and effort will lead you to where you want to be.”

“And I don't want to subsidize people who are lazy or don't want to pursue anything. “Whether I was successful or not, I was going to work very hard on what I did. So there's a balance there.”

The rock drummer continues, and the benefits of living in society are, “We can help people through collective efforts, so it doesn't cost you much, you don't help much – we all have to help.

“If anyone owns, I wouldn't say, 'Well, you should have learned how to swim better.' You give them your hands to take them out of the water so they don't drown. So, as a society, I believe that is what we should do,” Dolmayan said.

“What happened now, it's a bit off the quilter. It's off the deep edge,” he added.

Dolmayan told YouTubers that the United States is a “constitutional republic” and that “the original purpose was to have farmers. [in Congress]and for a few months a year, they will go, and they will understand what the government will do, then they will return to farming. ”

“Some of them were engineers, some of them were lawyers, some of them were doctors, business owners, and that was a big mix,” the drummer explained. “All these people who have different life experiences. And they go and direct what the government did.”

“Now we have people going to law school, and they become aides. And they will spend the next 40 years of life on their toes on the company line,” added Dolmayan. “And they both get money from special interest groups.”

Dolmayan later revealed that he had voted for President Trump.
