Do you recall the uproar from Democrats when Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency began scrutinizing federal expenditures and implementing practical cuts?
This backlash seems to stem from a desire to keep the public in the dark about various small NGOs that were supposedly “funding our destruction.” They also likely wanted to hide the rampant fraud associated with Obamacare. That’s what Glenn Beck has pointed out.
This Wednesday, the Government Accountability Office released a report addressing fraud within the Affordable Care Act, often referred to as Obamacare.
The report, titled “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: Preliminary results of ongoing review suggest fraud risks persist in prepaid premium deductions,” highlighted some significant findings:
- The GAO ran fake applicants through the system, and nearly all were deemed eligible for grants, even when they had failed identity verification and submitted fraudulent documents.
- In 2023, over $21 billion in premium tax credits was issued by the IRS without matching those amounts to filed tax returns, suggesting such funds went to ineligible individuals or incorrect amounts.
- About 58,000 individuals who were listed as deceased continued to receive subsidies, amounting to $94 million.
- There were instances of 29,000 uses of a single Social Security number across multiple plans, with some cases where one SSN linked to over 125 policies.
- From January to August 2024, the CMS logged around 275,000 complaints from individuals claiming they were enrolled in or changed to a plan without their knowledge.
- In 2018, CMS identified multiple high-risk vulnerabilities in its systems concerning fraud but hasn’t implemented any changes or reassessments since then.
But, well, hold onto your seats because it gets worse.
“These findings mirror exactly what GAO presented back in 2015/2016… word for word,” Glenn’s chief researcher, Jason Butrill, noted.
Glenn expressed his distress over the GAO report.
“When the government becomes this unaccountable and incompetent, it leads to a complete collapse of the country,” he explained with a sigh.
“Now we see Democrats quickly stepping up to defend the wrongdoers, along with judges reversing decisions to protect those who have deceived the public. I would argue that the folks defending these actions are likely the ones who’ve been involved in the cover-up,” he speculated.
The people orchestrating this alleged scam—whether through direct involvement or negligence—should face jail time, he added, asserting that anyone who disagrees is just “brainwashed.”
The nation is grappling with “foreign invasions,” “internal strife,” and “financial collapse,” but he cautioned that the root disaster will stem from “domestic corruption.”
“Please, just stop scamming me,” he pleaded.
“If we allow this kind of behavior to become the norm, our country won’t make it,” he cautioned.
