After the attack, Russia claimed the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump came about because Joe Biden’s weakened administration created an “atmosphere” in which the perpetrators could carry out their failed mission.
The Kremlin placed full responsibility on the White House. The Daily Telegraph Reports.
“We do not believe that the assassination or assassination attempt against President Trump was planned by this administration,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, denying the allegation but hinting at the possibility.
“But it was the atmosphere surrounding candidate Trump that created the situation America finds itself in today.”

“There were numerous attempts to remove candidate Trump from the political scene, first of all through legal means, the courts, the prosecutors’ office, attempts to politically discredit and compromise the candidate, but it was clear to all outside observers that his life was in danger,” Peskov told the outlet.
He added that Putin has no plans to call Trump following the incident.
Trump, 78, confirmed shortly after the attack that he suffered an ear injury but was otherwise OK.
“I will never surrender,” he declared in a subsequent social media post.
A defiant Trump is now scheduled to attend the Republican National Convention in Wisconsin, Breitbart News reported.
The convention is scheduled to begin on Monday, when Trump is expected to formally accept the party’s nomination and address the rally.
