On Saturday, as the United States marked its 250th anniversary, leaders from around the globe sent their congratulations, highlighting America’s influence and relationships with its allies.
“This year signifies a significant milestone and a moment for celebration for people in America and beyond,” remarked King Charles III. He emphasized this as a time for reflection on America’s achievements since its independence in 1776.

In New Jersey, military allies and historical ships congregated to kick off the anniversary festivities.
King Charles acknowledged America’s progress, calling it a moment to honor all the accomplishments over the years.
Pope Leo XIV also extended his “heartfelt congratulations” to Americans, conveying that the importance of religious freedom has been a pillar of America’s dedication to individual dignity and communal harmony.
France displayed its support by illuminating the Eiffel Tower in red, white, and blue, stating it as a heartfelt tribute to the historic bond between the two nations.
From Germany, Chancellor Frederick Merz highlighted that the U.S. was founded on principles of freedom and democracy and noted the ongoing significance of the transatlantic friendship.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy celebrated the day as a recognition of the American Dream — a vision of freedom and prosperity for all.
In a somewhat surprising gesture, the Russian Ministry released a statement from President Vladimir Putin addressing Donald Trump, wishing health and happiness to him and all Americans.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a meeting with Trump, remarked on the critical role of the U.S. in safeguarding freedom worldwide. He expressed the special importance of close ties between the nations.
