‘God, family, and country’: Kirk Cameron announces that he has left California for Tennessee

Actor Kirk Cameron announced Wednesday that he was leaving California for Tennessee, making him the latest celebrity to decide to leave the Pacific Coast, the paper reported. Washington Examiner.

Cameron, who has appeared in “Full House,” “Growing Pains” and “Left Behind,” had reportedly been considering moving out of California for the past few years, particularly in protest against the strict COVID-19 restrictions that were in place in the state at the time.

“After long and serious consideration, your mother and I have decided that it is time to leave California for good and move on to the next step.”

After the worst of the pandemic hit, Cameron asked fans where they wanted to live, saying California caused “so much division” and that he wanted to live somewhere with a “healthy spirit of freedom,” according to the report. Daily Caller.

“It’s clear that California has been moving in a particular direction for a long time,” Cameron said.

Other celebrities who have fled California include Dave Rubin, Mark Wahlberg, and Sylvester Stallone. Rubin announced on X (formerly Twitter) in 2021 that he was “officially leaving the dystopian nightmare of California and moving to the free state of Florida.”

“After much consideration, your mother and I have decided that it is time for me to leave California for good and move on to the next step,” Stallone told his daughters, “and head to Florida.”

“We already have a house[in Florida]. It’s a done deal,” Stallone said, admitting that it was his wife who urged him to move out of California.

“We have roots in California, so moving to Florida wasn’t an easy decision,” he said, “but Jennifer was really committed to it and I relented.”

Cameron said one of the main reasons he decided to leave California was because he and his family “just didn’t feel safe anymore.” Another report.

The “Full House” actor was critical of drag queen story hours ahead of his relocation to Tennessee, and he has been pushing for more faith-based events and family-friendly gatherings that are more appropriate for children.

Cameron told the Washington Examiner that he encouraged people experiencing “serious economic problems and division” to consider moving to Tennessee, where people “value God, family and country above all else.”
