Gold prices skyrocketed on March 27th as global uncertainty rose after President Donald Trump announced new tariffs. According to the Indian Bullion Association, gold (999 purity) was traded at around Rs 87,955 per 10 gm on March 27th.

Gold's April contract for India's Multicommodity Exchange (MCX) traded at Rs 87,785 per 10 grams on March 27th.
