Golf great Phil Mickelson supports the efforts of Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The three-time master winner golfer recently praised Musk and Doge on X for helping America “become financially responsible.”
Tuesday, Mickelson Reposted In a video of a Fox Business Network interview with Musk, he praised Tesla's chief for working with the Trump administration.
“It is extremely kind and generous to help America take financial responsibility. We all owe him a great debt of gratitude. Nikola Tesla was not valued when he was alive despite his numerous contributions to humanity. I hope Elon shows his gratitude worthy of his life,” the golfer wrote.
Musk I answered Mickelson's “Thank you” post.
In an interview, Musk told FBN's Larry Kudlow: “I'm trying to make government more efficient here. Eliminate waste and fraud and so far, we've actually made good progress. Our savings have been well over $4 billion a day so far.”
Mickelson has been a supporter of President Trump in the past.
For example, Mickelson in 2023 I insisted Trump said he did a lot to “help golf better” and “thank you for what he did to promote the game of golf.”
Trump also praised Mickelson. In 2018, during his first term, the president praise A golfer salutes to a worship dinner where Trump called Mickelson “incredible” and “a great gentleman.”
