In about 10 years Batman and Superman will be in the public domain. This is good news. Once these icons are ripped out of the hands of left-wing multinational corporations, we're much more likely to see them both again in decent content.
The Disney Grooming Syndicate lost control of “Steamboat Willie” and, by extension, its version of Mickey Mouse this year.
and now…
“The sad fact of Hollywood is that superheroes never really die, but all copyrights do.” lament extreme left hollywood reporter. “DC characters are the next big deadlines on the horizon. Superman and Lois Lane will enter the public domain in 2034, followed by Batman in 2035, Joker in 2036, and Wonder Woman in 2037. It will be published.”
After “Steamboat Willie'' and “Winnie the Pooh'' entered the public domain, several cheap horror movies based on those characters became hits. that's ok. Still, I wish some serious artists would take advantage of this public domain windfall that is Superman and Batman to create serious art that pays homage to these characters and creators rather than degenerating them into drag queens and postmodern smugness. Let's hope it does.
Imagine if Superman and Batman were like Dracula and Robin Hood, who have been in the public domain for decades. Indeed, we have seen many terrible consequences of that free-for-all. Still, there are many great works of art that would not have been seen if one multinational corporation had complete control.
Fast forward to 2034 and we'll see Superman, but not everything related to the Man of Steel. Initially, Superman couldn't fly. All he could do was jump. Then came the genius idea of kryptonite. Those things pop out into the public domain all at once.
For nearly 50 years, Warner Bros. has delivered some great movies with these characters, but there's been far more trash, especially in the recent lackluster DC Universe.
When it comes to comics, who wouldn't want to see rights taken away from the sick people who made Superman gay?
Hollywood has become the enemy of ordinary people. All aimed at “homosexualizing” children, promoting, preaching and humiliating them. The result has been the death of art, creativity, and the universal themes and values that once bound our culture together. That's why I consider this news to be good news.
As I've said before, I'm not a big fan of creators losing their copyrights. Walt Disney created “Steamboat Willie,” so the Steamboat Willie character should remain with the Disney company. Superman and Batman are a little different. They were created by individuals who died long ago. These creators may have worked for his DC, but it's a far cry from their legacies that live on through namesake companies like Disney.
Only good things can come from the blossoming of a thousand Superman and Batman, especially the rivalry that follows. One of the reasons these characters are so underserved these days is creative monopoly. If you're the only one who owns Superman and Batman, you don't have to work so hard if the public can just come to you for Superman and Batman. . Ah, but if you're going to compete for Batman and Superman's money, you have to make an extra effort to make those characters appealing. And that's supposed to be the end of Gay Superman.

That I read less and less books these days because all pop culture (books, movies, music) has degenerated into simple “content” that tries to beat you over the head with messages. I noticed that. By the way, I found it… borrowed time Making complex characters and messy (authentic) worlds feel fresh and fun. I also have to admire your idea of what heaven is like. Too many writers have commonplace visions of heaven, but I like both versions of heaven you've come up with (Doreen's version as a campsite with Arthur's family, and Mason's version with Doreen and Hockey). I found it to be true to those characters. Majestic. — Reader Email.
