According to a company-wide memo obtained by postGoogle’s vice president of global security, Chris Rakow, called the protesters’ actions “unacceptable, extremely disruptive, and made our colleagues feel threatened.” He said the employees “occupied office space, defaced our property, and physically interfered with the work of other Googlers.”
Critics of the company have expressed concern that technology provided through Project Nimbus could be used as a weapon against Palestinians in Gaza.
