GOP governor candidate Bruce Blakeman will support Trump at Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of the NBA Finals while cheering on the Knicks.

Republican candidate for governor, Bruce Blakeman, announced on Sunday that he’ll be joining former President Trump to support the Knicks at Game 3 of the NBA Finals, held at Madison Square Garden.

Nassau County executives confirmed they will join Trump in his box during Monday’s game, following a planned in-person meeting with him.

“We’re set to discuss various topics, but primarily, we’ll focus on Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Josh Hart,” Blakeman mentioned while expressing his views on the Knicks at the 2026 Belmont.

The Knicks are making their return to the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years on Monday, drawing together New Yorkers across the political spectrum for a rare moment of unity amid tough times.

Mayor Zoran Mamdani, a friend of Trump’s, is also expected to be at the game, though likely in a less prominent seat. He recently mentioned that he paid for his own tickets to witness the Knicks take on the San Antonio Spurs.

With prices soaring to around $7,000, it’s clear that attendance doesn’t come cheap.

Mamdani’s ally, far-left influencer Hasan Piker, is also slated to attend the event.

Trump’s attendance comes as a guest of Knicks owner James Dolan and marks the first time a sitting president will be at an NBA Finals game, although security measures at the Garden are anticipated to be stringent.

Having grown up in New York, Trump is familiar with Knicks games, often seen courtside with celebrities, including actor Elliott Gould during his earlier days as a tabloid figure.

Blakeman also highlighted his close ties to Trump, who is working to block the reelection of Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul.
