Trump’s Rose Garden Club Opens with Praise from Lawmakers
On Saturday, Republican lawmakers took to social media to express their enthusiasm for President Trump’s newly renovated “Rose Garden Club,” located near the West Wing of the White House.
Trump hosted a dinner in the Rose Garden on Friday night, inviting a variety of guests.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) shared several photos from the occasion on his social media account early Saturday, stating, “The grand opening of the new Rose Garden Club at the White House last night was spectacular. Thank you to @RealdonaldTrump for his hospitality and visionary leadership.”
Vice President Vance attended the dinner, sitting with Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-Ten) and Mark Wayne Mullin (R-Ga.), along with Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.). Hudson expressed his gratitude for the invitation, sharing, “I was honored that President Trump invited me to his first Rose Garden Club dinner. It was great to spend time with @potus in the Oval Office,” adding that he admired the renovations in the cabinet room.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) also posted photos, joking about the camaraderie between the Air Force and the Marines.
Other lawmakers expressed their excitement about being part of the first event in the renovated space. Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) noted, “The renovation of President Trump’s Rose Garden will be enjoyed by generations to come,” and he felt privileged to be among the first guests.
Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) described the evening as “beautiful,” sharing his sentiment online, “It was a beautiful evening to have dinner with @potus at the Rose Garden. Every action President Trump takes puts America first, and we are a better country thanks to him.”
Freshman Representative Riley Moore (R-W.V.) publicly thanked Trump for the invitation and shared photos, celebrating the event as a remarkable night.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) expressed that it was a distinct honor to attend the dinner, emphasizing his long-standing support for Trump’s initiatives.
The dinner followed a gathering the day prior, where Trump had welcomed around 20 prominent technology and business leaders, including Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Bill Gates, and Sam Altman. Although initially planned for the Rose Garden, that event was moved indoors due to rain.
At the earlier gathering, Trump highlighted his “America First” agenda and requested that businesses disclose their commitments to U.S. manufacturing investments.
The newly updated Rose Garden will coincide with upcoming construction for Trump’s new ballroom project at the White House.
