First term GOP Rep. Brandon Gill (Texas) introduced measures that required all $100 bills to make the face of President Trump.
The law, entitled Golden Age Act of 2025, highlights common sentiment from the President and his allies.
“No one has done much to lead America into a golden age than President Trump,” Gill said in a statement Monday. “Featured him on a $100 bill is a small way for him to honor all of this accomplishment.”
Councillor I shared photos It was covered in the $100 bill in Trump's official photo, and said, “Let's make history.”
If passed, legislation allows the Treasury Secretary to publish the preliminary design of the bill by December 31, 2026, and photograph all bills created after December 31, 2028.
Rep. Troy Nairs (R-Texas) is a co-sponsor.
The measure comes just days after Rep. Joe Wilson (Rs.C.) said he was preparing legislation to feature Trump in a new $250 bill.
Now, the law prevents living people from appearing in US currency.
