GOP reps launch judicial task force seeking to impeach ‘activist judges’

First on FOX: Georgia Republican Rep. Andrew Clyde and Arizona Eli Crane have launched a judicial task force to “unify members in exposing judicial activities,” targeting “fraud,” with “activist judges” being “in the legal challenges to the Trump Agenda.”

“I am excited to lead this important effort with my friend and fellow patriot, Rep. Eli Crane. Our Judicial Activist Accountability Task Force aims to unite members who expose judicial activities with the ultimate goal of seductive injustice.

Clyde announced in February that he was drafting an ammo each article against Rhode Island-based Judge John McConnell, who oversees the lawsuit against President Donald Trump. At the time, McConnell filed a motion ordering the Trump administration to comply with previous restraining orders. The order temporarily blocked the administration's efforts to suspend federal grants and loans.

Crane and other representatives then followed Clyde's lead to publishing an article on the perpetual against other judges who degusted Trump-related lawsuits.

Clyde said he encourages other members of Congress to “be passionate about abusive judicial overreach, support separation of power, and defend the US Constitution” as they “look forward to providing 'American accountability'.”

Crane, who announced that he was drafting an article on U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmeyer, has weaponized the judicial division in recent years,” he told Fox News Digital in a statement.

“If these activist judges want to become politicians, they should resign and run for public office,” an Arizona Republican said.

“The American people have delegated President Trump the duty to disrupt the administrative state,” Crane said. “These judges are in violation of the will of the people, and Congress has the constitutional authority to each of these partisans and make them prisoners.”

Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogres also announced that he is drafting an article for his own ammo each, following Clyde and Crane's efforts.

Clyde spoke with Fox News Digital shortly after publishing an ammo each article on McConnell.

“You're not just hurting the president,” Clyde said. “You're hurting the people of America, so they're the ones who chose him, and they're the ones who want to do this to him, and to exercise these specific authorities.
