GOP Senate candidate sounds the alarm about Biden’s cognitive issues after Hur report: ‘Scary for us’

Republican state Sen. Matt Dolan, who is currently running for an Ohio Senate seat, told Fox News Digital last week that Ohio voters are voting for President Biden in the wake of the special counsel’s report that questioned his memory. He said he was concerned about the president’s ability to do his job.

I am very worried. So I don’t know if President Biden can be president of the United States,” Dolan told Fox News Digital after Special Counsel Ha’s report cast serious doubts about Biden’s cognitive abilities.

“That’s a big concern for us. Now, obviously I’m running in the Republican primary, and I’m talking to a lot of Republicans, so it’s understandable that it’s scary for us,” Dolan said. . “This is very revealing reporting about who is running the show in Washington, and it should scare us.”

“We don’t want a president who doesn’t know who’s really making the decisions in the White House,” he continued.

Ho’s report described Biden as a “sympathetic and well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory,” and outlined several instances in which Biden was unable to remember the timeline of major events. The Biden administration denied the report and defended Biden’s mental sharpness.

Still, Republicans say the report shows the 81-year-old president is unfit to serve another term.

Mr. Dolan is currently in a close race with two other Republican opponents in the Republican primary to determine who will challenge Democratic state Sen. Sherrod Brown in November. He told Fox News Digital that he believes Brown is the candidate to make a case for illegitimacy. He is “out of touch” with Ohio voters.

I think people are very dissatisfied with a government that isn’t doing what’s best for individuals, businesses and individuals to thrive,” Dolan told Fox News Digital.

“Instead, Sherrod Brown and Joe Biden are trying to expand the size of government and saying, don’t worry, the government will solve these problems, and people are tired of it and not relieved.” They see us saying, we have to change.”
