Sen. Josh Hawley, a member of the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee, is confident that his new bill, which will stop federal judges from making nationwide injunctions, will stop him from “stimulating a crisis.”
Earlier this week, Missouri Republicans debuted a measure to “stop a national injunction.”
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Holy explained, “I don't think they have the authority to do that under the Constitution anyway, but they are trying to do it and this law will make sure that it can't.”

The bill was rolled out in response to a nationwide injunction by a federal district judge halting President Donald Trump's administration's actions.
The number of such orders ever imposed on Trump is exponentially greater than what his predecessor saw.
The court has attacked him with about 15 broad orders since he took office in January. It was received during his tenure as former President George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

Holy said he personally urged Senate Republican leaders to take his bill. However, Senate majority leader John Tune (Rs.D.) has not shown any plans to do so.
When asked earlier by Fox News Digital, Thune's office did not provide comment whether he had any policy ideas about injunctions or whether he believed Congress needed to act.
He told reporters earlier this week that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, was investigating the issue. “At the end of the day, there's a process, there's an appeal process, and I think that's how it ends in the end,” Thune said.

Holy believes that even if there is a risk that doesn't overcome the 60 vote threshold for the legislative filibuster, it should be brought to the floor. “If they change their opinion, I'd like to hear an explanation of why they suddenly changed over the course of four months,” he said of the Democratic senator.
Holy said he believes Trump will support his bill, given the president's past public comments calling for an end to the national injunction.

“The illegal national injunctions by radical left judges can lead to the destruction of our country very well! These people are also insane, not caring about the effects of very dangerous and false decisions and rulings,” Trump recently wrote about the true society.
“Stop the national injunction before it's too late,” he added.

Holy blamed the judges for stacking orders, explaining that “they are free judges fantasizing about themselves, part of the resistance and are willing to do whatever it takes to stop Trump.”
