Prior to taking on senior leadership roles in the Trump Administration, Patel served in government for over a dozen years as a federal public defender and national security prosecutor, and was a key player in uncovering the Russiagate investigation, working with then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) to draft the infamous Nunes Memorandum, which exposed the deceptive Trump machinations behind the claims that Donald Trump was a Russian agent.

“They choose a target, fabricate an allegation,” he explains, “and then deploy assets in agencies like the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the Department of Justice to gather intelligence to support their false allegations. They then leak these false findings to sympathetic mainstream media, which then back up their original allegations with articles and news. Finally, they use federal government agencies to bring down their target.”
Their main target, of course, is former President Donald Trump.
Like a prosecutor making his closing argument, Patel chronicles the deep state’s conspiracy to remove Trump. Sure, we know the story; but never has it been so succinctly summarized. These Trump “scandals” involved so many outlandish accusations, false leaks, delays and obstruction of the special counsel investigation, and unchecked lies that went on for years, that by the time the truth finally came out, the news cycle had already moved on to the next “scandal.” Taylor’s hour-long documentary weaves all these threads together into an indictment tapestry that exposes just how corrupt our government is.

And now, with the benefit of hindsight in all these revelations, Taylor and Patel can show just how these charlatans lied to the American people and got away with it.

The fake Ukraine phone call “scandal” began just two days after Trump was exonerated in the Russiagate investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. That didn’t get Trump out of office, so they impeached him for orchestrating an “insurrection.”But as Patel explains, Trump seems to have been the only person who actively tried to prevent the violence that stormed the Capitol on January 6th.
Patel said she was meeting in the Oval Office with the secretary of defense, the White House chief of staff and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff when Trump authorized the deployment of more than 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the Capitol on Jan. 6. Because the president cannot deploy troops across the country, Trump sent Pentagon officials to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Capitol Police to get approval.
“Speaker Bowser and Speaker Pelosi not only verbally but in writing refused to authorize President Trump to deploy more than 10,000 National Guard troops, and we have the receipts,” Patel said, adding that this fact alone debunks the claim that Trump tried to incite a riot that day.
Patel argues that deep state operatives “always accuse their opponents of the same crimes they committed,” and cites Hunter Biden’s infamous “Hell Laptop” and Joe Biden’s classified documents scandals as examples to illustrate the “dual justice system.”
He points out that when the “Laptop from Hell” scandal came to light, intelligence agencies quickly launched a disinformation campaign to discredit the laptop.
“Former heads of the NSA, CIA and Department of Defense got together and signed a letter a few weeks before the 2020 election calling Hunter Biden’s laptop Russian disinformation in an attempt to make people think it wasn’t real. The problem is that the FBI knew and corroborated all along that Hunter Biden’s laptop was in fact real. That just goes to show how good the Deep State is,” Patel continues. “They said the laptop used in the investigation had all the ‘hallmarks’ of Russian disinformation. The mainstream media will do the rest. The mainstream media will come in and say it.” teeth “Russian disinformation.”

“In my opinion, that single piece of election fraud propaganda ensured Joe Biden’s victory,” he argues.
The only thing that bothers me about this movie is the title. Government GangsterIn their own words, they should be called “government sociopaths” because the ease with which these scoundrels lie and their callous, amoral lies bear “all the hallmarks of a dead-eyed sociopath.”
When our government is run by a sociopath and our intelligence agencies and Department of Justice are against you, what hope do you have of winning? It’s easy to lose morale, but Patel instead urges Americans to “rally together with the truth.”
“This historic exposé of government corruption demands a historic response from the American people to fix Washington, D.C.,” Patel said, making it clear she expects to hear that response in November.
