President-elect Donald Trump may not be in the Oval Office yet, but he's wasting no time preparing for a deep clean of the Justice Department.
“This is a grand slam by President Trump,” Mike Davis, president of the Article III Project, told Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show” about Trump's previous appointments.
“I've been working with Susie Wiles as a volunteer for the Trump campaign,” Davis says. “Susie is an incredible choice to be White House chief of staff. She understands that her job is not to control Trump, but to control everything else surrounding Trump. Then Trump will be Trump, his campaign will work, and the White House will work.”
The consensus on the left is that Trump is “sexist,” but Wiles' appointment will do little to prove them wrong.
“It's clear that President Trump respects Susie, and she's very good with women. President Trump probably had the first female executive in the construction industry in the '90s, who worked for him for about 18 years. '' Davis explained, “This is the first female White House chief of staff.''
Davis is also happy with Stephen Miller, calling him “a great addition to the White House deputy chief of staff.”
“He's been a long-time supporter of President Trump. He's been the tip of the spear on immigration and I think he'll do great in that role,” Davis said, adding that Tom Homan is also a great pick. added.
“He's going to work with Susie and Stephen to close the border and deport these illegal immigrants, starting with the violent criminals and then moving on to the rest,” he added. Ta.
As for Davis himself, he plans to “strongly advocate for serious reform of the Department of Justice.”
“The Department of Justice has been politicized and weaponized against President Trump,” he tells Wheeler. “His inner circle, like Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro, who were sent to prison, and his January 6 supporters were politically persecuted.”
“The Biden-Harris Justice Department is armed to go after parents outraged by gender confusion in schools, resulting in rape in high school bathrooms, and Christians praying in abortion clinics.” , including shooting a 75-year-old man to death. Christians are being jailed for praying at abortion clinics,” he continued.
“There has to be accountability for what happened, and that responsibility must fall on the Department of Justice,” he added.
