Crime Scene Photos of Idaho Student Murders Leaked
Recently released crime scene images provide a chilling view of the blood-stained room in which four University of Idaho students lost their lives at the hands of Brian Koberger.
Almost 3,000 previously unseen photographs depicting the November 2022 murders were accidentally leaked by the Idaho State Police on Tuesday. These images, later removed from the department’s website, were obtained by the Daily Mail before their deletion.
The disturbing photos highlight blood splattered across various surfaces—doors, walls, furniture, mattresses, and floors—within what looked like an average university dorm in Moscow.
Some of the graphic images captured personal belongings of the victims, including a mobile phone, a laptop, shoes, and blood-stained clothing, found in a battered bedroom where one student was killed while asleep.
Among the unsettling visuals was a photo featuring a bloody handprint on a nightstand in one of the disturbed bedrooms, and another image depicted blood trickling down a wall.
Koberger, now 31, accepted a plea deal in July, just weeks before his highly anticipated trial was meant to commence.
On November 13, 2022, he fatally stabbed Zana Karnodol, Kaylee Gonsalves, Madison Morgen, and Ethan Chapin at their off-campus residence.
This plea deal spared him from facing the death penalty, which frustrated many of the victims’ families and left loved ones grappling with unanswered questions regarding his motives for the horrific acts.
Currently, he is serving four life sentences without the possibility of parole at the Idaho Maximum Security Institute.
