Great American Family’s Modern Twist to ‘Little Women’ Promises All-Star Cast and Holiday Spirit

The classic story of the March sisters Little Women It is reinterpreted for modern times in The Great American Family. The family-oriented network aired Wednesdays. Little Women’s Christmasis a modern-day version of the popular novel that follows the lives of the March sisters in a small town in Tennessee at Christmastime.

The film will be released this holiday season as part of the network’s fourth annual Great American Christmas event.

The new film stars Jen Lilley (Paris Christmas Waltz, Days of Our Lives) Meg March, Laura Osnes (Just in time for Christmas) Beth March, Gillian Murray (An encounter with ChristmasJo March, Julia Riley (County Rescue Squad) Amy March, Trevor Donovan (Pre-Christmas text, Jingle Bell Princess) Friedrich “Fritz” Baer and Jesse Hatch (Christmas Blessings, B&B Merry) stars as John. Grammy Award-winning artist Gladys Knight performs a new Christmas song. joy.

Brandon Clarke (Engagement Planning, Happy Campers) is the director.

Little Women Published in the 1860s by Louisa May Alcott, this novel tells the story of four sisters growing up and finding their place in life. The original story is set in Massachusetts during the Civil War.

The classic novel has been adapted into several versions in recent years, including a 2019 version directed by Greta Gerwig, a 2017 miniseries, and a modern-day version in 2018.
