A Washington state great-grandmother was found strangled to death in her home hours after her excited daughter landed at a nearby airport where she was scheduled to meet.
Patricia Zimmerfield, a 78-year-old retired nurse from Vancouver, Washington, was murdered in her home last Tuesday, authorities said.
