Texas Gov. Greg Abbott recently condemned immigrants who allegedly tried to kill children in a house fire and vowed to work with President-elect Trump's incoming “border czar” to enforce law and order. .
Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, 46, was recently charged with three counts of attempted murder in connection with an incident at his home on November 6th. The immigrant allegedly set his home in Fulshear, Texas, on fire with his three children inside.
It is unclear whether Mr. Pulger immigrated to the United States legally. Fox News Digital contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) about his legal status, but Abbott described his legal status as “unknown.”
In a post on X on Monday, the Texas governor called on Pulgar to “spend the rest of his life in prison.”

“A Venezuelan immigrant of unknown legal status is accused of setting fire to a Texas home while leaving his three children inside,” Abbott's post read. “He should spend the rest of his life behind bars.”
The Texas Republican also pledged to work with the incoming Trump administration to deport criminal immigrants.
“I will work with Tom Homan to find and deport as many criminals as possible,” Abbott continued.

Pulger's two other children escaped the residence with minor injuries. The house also suffered significant damage from the fire.
