Gregg Jarrett Discusses How Brennan and Comey Attempted to Trap Trump and Then Undermined His Presidency

Legal Analyst Discusses Brennan and Comey’s Actions Against Trump

On Fox Business, legal analyst Gregg Jarrett shared insights on how former CIA director John Brennan and former FBI director James Comey may have manipulated investigations concerning President Donald Trump.

Both Comey and Brennan are currently facing scrutiny for their roles related to the Steele Dossier and for promoting the FBI’s investigation into alleged Russian interference during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. During his appearance on “Kudlow,” Jarrett elaborated on how Comey leveraged these situations to obtain a FISA warrant.

“They attempted to tie Trump to the infamous Trump Tower meeting just before he assumed office, but it didn’t pan out,” Jarrett noted. He also referenced Comey’s handling of FBI documents, suggesting that there was a degree of collusion in how information was processed.

Jarrett critiqued the basis of the investigations into Trump, claiming they are founded on misleading information, with Brennan, Comey, and former Intelligence director James Clapper relying on documents they knew were false.

“These investigations hinge on a fraudulent document known as The Dossier,” he stated, emphasizing that all involved were aware of its dubious nature.

He went on to say that Comey’s approach to the FISA courts involved presenting unreliable Steele documents as credible evidence, downplaying crucial details.

“He went to the FISA court under false pretenses, misrepresenting the trustworthiness of the documents and sidestepping the FBI’s own doubts,” Jarrett explained. “They asserted that Christopher Steele, the author, was reliable, even though they had already fired him for deceit.”

Jarrett commended current CIA director John Ratcliffe for unveiling critical evidence that may point to fraudulent activities. “I have a lot of respect for Ratcliffe. He digs into information like a handwritten note from Brennan that clearly indicates wrongdoing,” he remarked.

Ratcliffe recently provided FBI director Kash Patel with evidence pertaining to Brennan’s alleged misconduct, stemming from the declassification of the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment’s “Lessons Learned” review.

In a review conducted by Ratcliffe, it was highlighted that Brennan advocated for the inclusion of the Steele Dossier in this assessment, a point now contested by new findings from the CIA’s June analysis. Notably, documents created by Christopher Steele were funded indirectly by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, as reported.
