Rick Grenell, Trump's former acting director of national intelligence, said: Breitbart News Saturday He spoke about an upcoming event where he will discuss China's threat to American agriculture with former President Donald Trump.
Grenell, former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) and Trump host On Monday, an event was held in Pittsburgh as part of the “Defend America” initiative to discuss the Chinese threat to American agriculture.
“I'm very excited to highlight the Chinese Communist Party's expanding strategy inside the United States, which has been happening for some time,” Grenell said. Breitbart News Saturday Hosted by Matthew Boyle.
“China has been quietly developing its Belt and Road initiative in the United States, buying up farmland and hijacking supply chains,” Grenell said. “China is clearly controlling battery development and that's a red flag.” [for]”The electric vehicle industry right now. We have to be able to understand what we're getting into. If China owns the supply chain and they control it, then we're just asking them to go against China.”
“Pennsylvania is at the epicenter of losses from weak American leadership when it comes to jobs, manufacturing and other jobs supply chains,” he added.
Grenell also noted that Chinese influence is hurting the Keystone State's energy and auto industries.
“We're not doing very well in the fight against China, and China is starting to put us at a disadvantage in a number of areas, and Pennsylvania is one of the states that's been hit the hardest,” Grenell said.
Grenell said the Biden-Harris administration is underestimating America's adversaries abroad.
“What we want to do is focus on the threat that's coming from China, and China loves it when we're distracted, when we're at war in the Middle East or, incredibly, when we're at war in Europe,” Grenell said.
