Greta Thunberg Responds to Recent Events in Israel
Greta Samberg recently asserted that she was “invited” into international waters by Israel, describing a bizarre situation where she and her crew found themselves embroiled in what she termed a global conspiracy. The 22-year-old, whose full name is Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg, addressed President Trump’s comments labeling her as an “angry young woman” and suggested that perhaps he should consider anger management himself.
In a response covered by several outlets, including the Daily Mail, she stated, “Honestly, I think the world needs a younger, angry woman. Things are happening, especially now.” This came after she faced deportation from Israel and spoke to reporters at Paris airport, where she claimed she had not entered the country illegally and refused to watch videos depicting terrorist acts by Hamas against Israel from October 7, 2023.
After being deported, Thunberg and her fellow activists appeared at Charles de Gaulle Airport, asserting that they hadn’t broken any laws. According to reports, they called for the immediate release of detained activists in Israel. Thunberg expressed that she was taken against her will to Israel and emphasized their intention to navigate international waters.
Israeli forces had intercepted a charity vessel attempting to reach Gaza, seizing the crew, which included Thunberg. The situation raised various responses from different stakeholders, including other prominent figures involved in activism.
